Suggest Treatment For Fever, Body And Severe Chest Pain

Question: aches, fever, unusually tight chest at time...been going on off and on since Sunday 5 days ago...flu test came up negative, doctor yesterday prescribed antibiotic and recommended staying away from people a couple of days...also, did have single bypass surgery in March 2013.

I am sorry to see that you have a bronchitis infection and on antibiotics. The cough and congestion may last 1-2 weeks even after taking antibiotics. Your bypass surgery should not interfere or impact your recovery. After you get well I recommend that you make use to get your flu vaccine and be up to date on your other pneumonia vaccines.

For the fever and aches you can use tylenol or aspirin.
