Suggest Treatment For Fever And Cough While Having Throat Infection

Question: My 7yr old daughter is suffering from throat infection/fever with cough (only at night), can i start azithral syrup for her or do i need to give separate medicine for cough.

Kindly advice with correct line of treatment and number of days/dosage for her.

Tablet Moxikind CV 375mg twice a day.

Hi,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern and worry; and I would like to suggest that tablet Moxikind CV 375 mg twice a day for your daughter.

If I were the treating doctor of your daughter then I would also prescribe
1. Tablet Sporlac twice a day.
2. Syrup Solvin cold half teaspoonful twice a day.
3. Tablet Paracetamol in low doses for fever.
4. Avoid cold drinks, cold water and ice cream.
Continue the above mentioned treatment for 7 days. You will have to discuss these medicines with her doctor for better management and prescription.
