Suggest Treatment For Feeling Of Acidity, Bloating And Mild Abdominal Pain
Question: Dear Dr, I have been getting a feeling of acidity & bloating of stomach along with mild abdominal pain from last 2 months. I got LFT done..SGOT 324, SGPT 679, GGTP 1802, ALP 933, Bilirubinb3.6....consulted a Dr..prescribed reheptin BD, Ursokem plus OD, Zincovit OD.....Got LFT done after 5 days. SGOT103 ,SGPT 341,GGTP1042 ,ALP600 ,BILIRUBIN 1.58 ....please recommend furthermore course of action....should I continue with the same medicine...... I will take how many day to start working again.....can I go for my morning n evening walk.... I am 49 yrs old & weigh 73 kg.....thanks...any input will be welcome....also prescribe the diet which should be taken....

Findings may indicate liver injury.It may be due to many reasons like hepatitis,alcohol intake,altered lipid profile,auto immune causes,drug toxicity etc.
You need clinical examination and investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,lipid profile,renal function test,urine RE/ME,viral markers,ANA estimation,prothrombin time,ultrasound of abdomen.
Further investigations like CT scan etc can be done if needed.
You are responding well to medicines and you have been prescribed right medicines.Ursodeoxycholic acid tablet helps in regeneration of liver cells.
You should continue medicines.
You may need few more medicines after complete investigations.
You should avoid fried and fatty food.It may take one month for recovery.
You can go for walk for short distance.

In how many days can I resume office work.my work involves light to light-moderate physical activity. Or is complete bed rest recommended.
Do I need to take any diet supplements like liver 52, omega 3 etc.
