Brief Answer:
As detailed

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and concerns.
History of alternating loose stools and constipation indicates the need for colonoscopy and further investigations.
Understood your primary concern of leakage / mild fecal incontinence.
The commonest reasons are:
Laxity of the anal spincter.
Too loose stools.
Presence of lots of mucus making the passage of gases and feces so easy that mild leakage can occur easily.
Any mass, large piles.
Asthenia
Loss of fat-pad around anus
Any previous surgery at anal area.

May I please know which of the reasons is more responsible in your case?

I would advise you the following:
Get an examination done by a General Surgeon as direct per-rectal examination and proctoscopy can give idea about the possible causes and guide for further investigations like manometry or so.

I hope this answers you query.
Please give feedback, ask relevant further queries. I shall be happy to assist you more.

Brief Answer:
General Surgeon to start with.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Proctoscopy is a visualization only of the anal canal and part of the rectum and commonly done in the OPD as a routine examination; best done by a General Surgeon and simultaneously a per-rectal digital (by finger) examination to assess the laxity/strength of the anal sphincter.

Colonoscopy and further tests are done as per the opinion of the General Surgeon and Gastroenterologist.

Any XXXXXXX General Surgeon in your area can be consulted.
You may please consult our Office for getting more information about the General Surgeon in your locality.

I hope this help you further, please feel free to ask any further relevant queries.
