Brief Answer:
Please provide details of symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Both amisulpiride (Amazeo) and trihexphenydil (Pacitane) are used for variety of conditions and all the diseases treated by these medications have different duration of treatment.

For example individuals with schizophrenia require life long treatment while the individuals with acute psychotic disorder require just 12-18 months of treatment.

So before I can answer your question accurately I request you to provide details of disorder for which this treatment was started.
You can describe the problem in following heads.

1. Problems felt by you?
2. Problems faced by others in family as well as community
3. Duration of problem? Provide details of fluctuation in symptoms if any.
4. Your response to current treatment
5. Details of other treatment if any
6. Response to other treatment if any.

I look forward to assist you further.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
In my opinion you need to continue for long time

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for follow up.

Presence of symptoms over three years before treatment started indicates that you need a long term treatment. In my opinion dose should not be reduced before completion of atleast two years considering the diagnosis and persistence of symptoms.

I like to inform you that continuing medication is likely to benefit you more than causing any harm.

I hope this answers you further.
