Brief Answer:
Answer given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

As per the report your father is having fatty liver and stone in the gallbladder.

Some of the causes of fatty liver are alcohol intake, obesity, diabetes, high cholestrol. If he has any of these risk factors, it has to be treated. Most often fatty liver remains without any issues. Sometimes it can progress to the next step of hepatitis. So a liver function test has to be done to see if features of hepatitis are there. After consulting with his doctor he can take Nusam for faster recovery while treating the risk factors.

As far as the gallstone is concerned, it again is common in those with obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol. As long as it is without any symptoms, you can leave it as such. Only those that cause symptoms like severe right upper abdominal pain, obstruction of bile flow causing jaundice, fever etc, and those features of inflammation in the scan like a thickened gallbladder wall and fluid collection around it should be treated. Gallbladder removal is the only definitive treatment for gallstones. It can be done laparascopically.

Sorry I dont know any surgeon in XXXXXXX

Regards,
Dr.R.K.
