Brief Answer:
seems to be allergic more.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your follow up question.
Since you are having 2nd episode of same thing, which reponded to prednisone, I think it is allergic only.
Allergen can be anything. In your case I think
1. Soap
2. Face wash
3. Moisturising cream or lotion
4. Talcam powder
So is there anything you changed from your routine? Like soap or face wash or lotion or cream. This new thing may gives you allergic symptoms.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.

no changes with topical products..is it possible I have a food allergy? I have itchy scalp from psoriasis.. could this be associated since swelling is primarily around eyes and bridge of nose?

I don't take any meds for psoriasis, use meds on skin for itching when active. Only on scalp now and haven't used anything but regular shampoo. I thank you for your help and will have to see Primary Dr. and he will no doubt want me to see Allergist.

Brief Answer:
this is the best way.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your follow up question.
In my opinion clinical examination is needed at this point. So better to consult your primary doctor and then to the allergist.
You may require some blood test like S.IgE levels, allergy testing etc.
Hope I have solved your query.
