Brief Answer:
benign in most cases

Detailed Answer:
Hi an welcome. EYe floaters are actually small particles in vitreous part of eye that are undissolved and this is temporary condition in most cases. It may happen in conjuctivitis or caused by too cold or too warm environment, also throat or sinus and upper respiratory infections are possible cause as well. Rarely it may indicate some more or less serious ophtalmologic disorder so you should do examination of specialist it symptoms persist or worsen. Neurologic issues are extremely rarely causing this, especially in children. So you should see these doctors, but you should not worry since I dont thnig that anything serious can be found. Also, if there is eye problem it can be easily treated in most cases. Wish you good health. Regards
