Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

Question: Hello Doctor,

I am newly married (7 months) and every month one day my penis is not getting excited during normal sexual days. After that day it is very normal and I am able to fully involve in sexual activities with my wife.

I am not sure why this is happening and googling caused me more confusion since following troubled me lot.

1. I undergone treatment for schizophrenia and taken sedatives like sizodon now and then but not continuously (Maximum continuous period is 6 months).
2. During normal condition(while urinating or any other state) my penis size is almost equal to penis size of small kids and when penis is getting excited, the size is 5.2 inches.(I feel that size is smaller).
3. During the days of not exciting penis when I watch porn movies, It is reaching its full size but the same is not happening when I hug my wife. she is allowing me to only hug.
4. Even All days I am able to watch the porn movies and able to masturbate.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

First of all I like to make it clear that occasional difficulty in having erection is normal and there is nothing to worry. We know it very well that success is not universal and we tend to fail in one or other activities on some occasions snd sex is not exception.

Regarding penis size it is completely normal. The size of erect penis matters anfd that is completely normal. When it is not erect there is muscle tone whivh mskes it smaller thsn normal.

Regarding the effect of Sizodon I will request you to do serum prolactin level from nearby laboratory. This will help us in knowing any side effect of Sizodon on sexual health.

Thanks Doctor,

This is my second continuous day 12 Dec 16,13 Dec 16 that I am able to only masturbate by seeing porn movies.

My penis is getting excited when I involve in sex with my wife. But when about to put it inside vagina it is loosing its rigidness and become very soft.After that I am very nervous and getting sweat.Then I am unable to bring the rigidness back, unless and other wise I watch porn movies.

Regarding serum prolactin level when I need to test this.

If there is a positive report on serum prolactin level,Will it be possible to bring the level to normal ?

Also if it is identified as Erectile Dis-functionality,Are there any treatment to remove it ? I am bit nervous after seeing this terminology(Erectile Dis-Functionality) in google.

You need to get prolactin level from any standard laboratory in your city. There are no specific precautions to undergo prolactin level testing.

Prolactin can be normalised with help of medications.

Regarding your problem it seems there is psychogenic erectile dysfunction which is often completely treatable condition.
