Brief Answer:
It needs evaluation to find out the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

As per your facts that you have posted here,it appears that you have problem of getting hard erection while attempting for sexual intercourse.

This is kind of problems are often due psychological or mind related and due to performance anxiety.

Below listed measures will help you to boost up your confidence and getting good erection and have enjoyable sex in your married life.

1) Do regular exercises for about 30 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 an hour in the morning.

2) Take high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and Vitamin A,C,D,E.and Zinc

3)Take anti oxidants like Almonds 5-6 everyday.

4) Avoid alcohol and smoking. These can narrow blood vessels of penis and have been linked to impotence.

5) Sunlight exposure inhibits the body’s natural production of melatonin, a hormone that helps us to sleep and also reduces our sexual urges.

Less melatonin means more sexual desire. So have adequate sunlight exposure in daytime.

6) Paying attention to your partner’s desires and talking about this before hand can make sex pleasurable for both of you.

7) Engaging more in foreplay with your wife before intercourse.

In addition to above, you will also need to rule out certain medical causes,
like diabetes, hormonal problems, blood flow problems, vitamin deficiencies..

For this, I would advise you to have the following tests:

1) Basic blood tests - including haemoglobin, blood sugar, lipid profile (cholesterol), urea, creatinine, Vitamin B12 / folic acid levels, etc.
2) Testosterone levels - total and free testosterone
3) FSH / LH levels
4) Thyroid function tests
5) Ultrasound Doppler of the penis (to check for any blood flow problems)

These tests will give you a clear picture what your sexual problem is due to - any hormonal problems or any other systemic problems or local problems in the penis.

If there is any medical diagnosis then further treatment can be planned.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get above basic tests done to rule out the cause of your problem.
