Question: Hullo there, my boyfriend suffers from e.d. As he has diabetes, gastric reflux is waiting on a fundoplication. He also has ibs. He is type 1. He took a tablet for the e.d. But it was like someone had set fire to it. He injected into it and had severe bruising and pain...not listening to me when it sounded like a haematoma. By e.d I trust you know that I mean erectile dysfunction. Do pumps designed for this and the rings that go with them work?

Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your boyfriend has who is known to have type 1 diabetes,irritable bowel syndrome is facing problem of Erectile Dysfunction. He has tried medications like Viagra and intra Cavernous injection to get erection but did not get satisfactory results In view of his ED being due to diabetes he can have a trial of Vacuum Constriction Device to get erection .It is helpful in achieving desired erection to have enjoyable sex in 60-70% patients.
