Question: My 58 year old boyfriend has not been able to get an erection for the last 15 years but he can still have an orgasm with ejaculation. He was heavy into porn long before we meet and has not participated in it for the last 5 years. His testosterone levels are low normal. Is this normal or what can be done to help with this issue?

Brief Answer:
Please clarify a few points

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the query
There are a number of factors which need attention such as Diabetes, Hypertension, low testosterone, high lipids, obesity or urinary symptoms. Any of these can cause ED.

I think he may need to take testosterone replacement as is indicated by his loss of sex desire in last 5 years (stopped watching porn). I can help him further if I know his sex life details in last 15 years.

Please send me the SHBG, Total Testosterone levels and Serum Albumin levels to calculate the free testosterone. No, it is not normal but people may get ejaculation and orgasms with weak erection as well. I can guide you further what can be done once I get these clarifications
