Question: I am a 58 year old, healthy and active man. I have a single female sex partner. I have no problem with achieving and maintaining an erection nor any problem with sexual activity. I can naintain an erection and activity for an extended period of time (up to 2 hours or repeated activity per evening). I can not achieve orgasm. Is this a physical problem with a medical solution or a psychological problem? What should I do? It is beginning to affect my relationship.

Brief Answer:
Need a psychiatric consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
You had mentioned that you are not able to achieve orgasm. Are you able ejaculate?
Having sex for a period of 2 hours is not normal. Orgasm can be achieved not through drugs. It is an end point of mounting up of excitement and continuos and increasing stimulation through tactile, visual and through other means. If this feeling of stimulation is not getting up ascending you can not achieve orgasm. It is mainly concerned with mind set up. You may need a consultation with a psychiatrist also. If there is no ejaculation, it could either be organic or mental cause.
