Question: Dear Doctor, if a Hospital Doctor reports Ecopresis or soiling for a older dementia patient ..what does it mean and is dangerous or can it be dangerous if not investigated..what does all this mean..please advise.

You are asking about Encopresis. It is a term related with fecal leakage caused by different medical situations.
At this case it is probably related with dementia of the patient. If dementia is the cause of Encopresis than I can say that dementia is at severe grade.
Otherwise It would be great if you can upload to me the full Doctor report of the patient so I can check them by myself.
