Brief Answer:
It depends on the type of Stroke or cerebrovascular accident(CVA)

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being here on Healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

Treatment of stroke or cerebrovascular accident(CVA) depends on the type of CVA.There are 2 broad categories of CVA-

1)Ischemic stroke(Infarcts)-in 85% of patients
2)Hemorrhagic stroke(Brain hemorrhage)-in 15% of patients

Treatment of both types are altogether different. So,please tell that which is the type of stroke you are asking about? It's better that you upload Computerised tomographic(CT) scan or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) scan report.

Also you mentioned that the stroke has recurred? When was it previously, like how many years back? And,when it has recurred now(like how many days or months back)?

Is patient having any history of Diabetes,Hypertension,Smoking or alcohol intake?

Please follow-up with the above details and I shall be glad to answer your query well.
