Question: I started an ARB a few days ago, yesterday & last night I had an uncomfortable prolonged dull pain on the right side of my neck, also today I am having a prolonged dull pain @ the lower back of my neck. Could this be a side effect of the new medication?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

After reviewing your data I would like to say that the pain shouldn't be related to ARB side effects. Most likely the pain is related to rheumatologic issues.

If you were my patient I would recommend:
- to use hot bags
- to apply locally Volfast cream
- to do spinal cord x ray examinations

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
