Brief Answer:
Try home remedies.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

You can try these home remedies:

- Drink warm water. Drinking warm tea with honey also can soothe the throat.

- Steam inhalation for 20 mins, 2 to 3 times a day and humidifiers for the room.

- Remove irritants from air like dust, perfumes or scented bathroom sprays.

- Over the counter cough suppressant line Tus QD syrup can be taken 10 ml three times a day for 3 days after food.

- If there are underlying causes such as asthma, allergies or acid reflux, they have to be treated accordingly to cure the dry cough. If its just due to common cold or viral, it will subside on its own within a few weeks.

In case your symptoms persist or worsens, it is best to meet a physician for a detailed examination and treatment.

I hope this answered your query.
