Brief Answer:
Use a topical flutivate cream

hello. thank you for writing to us

I am dr kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern

Exvessive dryness and scaling is due to both the adapalene and benzoyl peroxide content of deriva bpo. Both of these are irritants and can cause such a reaction. You should discontinue deriva bpo for the time being. Instead you may use a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g flutivate cream, 2x daily for a week. That should help resolve dryness, scaling and discomfort.
