Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Breathing When Diagnosed With Mild Asthma

default
Posted on Thu, 8 Oct 2015
Question: For as long as I can remember I have found it difficult in breathing through my nose. Recently I have worked out this is probably because when I inhale deeply my nostrils get very small and my whole nose seems to decrease in size. Having googled this there seems to be a condition that sounds like what I describe called nasal valve collapse but I have been to the doctors and had a spirometry and have been diagnosed with 'mild asthma' I explained that my symptoms are significantly relieved when I flare my nostrils but they didn't take this into consideration. Should I go back and try a different doctor? I'm in the UK so I went to my GP hoping to get a referral.

Brief Answer:
Consult with ENT Specialist

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam,
I have gone through your query; and for this condition I personally advised to consult with your ENT specialist or send me the video of this with finding of anterior rhinoscopy and nasal endoscopy.

For your kind information persistent nasal blockage may lead to asthma.

It is absolute necessary to go above mentioned investigation before your line of treatment.

Wish you good health
Thanks
