Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Red Rashes Around Mouth Of Infant

Question: Hello,

My 10 month old daughter is 14 kg in weight. She has been exclusively breastfed for first 6 months and even now, she is not very fond of solids. Thus, doctor told me to cut on feeding and give her more of solids. He told me to introduce packet/cow milk in oats/suji etc. Also, he told me to ass beans and ladies finger in her food to avoid constipation.

Since making these two changes, she has been having stools around 4 times a day. Earlier, it used to be twice and not watery. But now, she has been passing watery stool. So, I stopped giving her outside milk and bhindi. But, today she vomited a lot in the afternoon, but she did not seem to be bothered about it.

Also, she has been having this very tiny red rashes around her mouth, They come and go now and then.

Please can you give me your opinion about any problem which she might be having. I am ensuring safety while making her food and all. But she suddenly seems to be not tolerating her solids well.

Is there any safe homeopathic medicine for her tummy?

Homoeopathy has good medicine in such case.
I would suggest you some medicine.
You can start with

1 Mag Carb 30 6 pills twice in a day
2 Aloes 6 4 drops in a spoon of water twice in day
3 Veratrum Alb 30 6 pills twice in day

Medicine will help to cure the infection and improve the digestion.
I have also suggested medicine to treat pain and infection in abdomen.
Take medicine for 15 days. She will have initial relief within 3-4 days but complete the course.

Adv- RO purified water or boiled water.
Holds solid food 1-2 days and then start again.

Since yesterday, I am noticing her stools are greenish in color with a little curdly texture. I am not giving her much solids for the past 3/4 days except khichdi in lunch/dinner and one banana. Also, I noticed something like mucus in her stool. She is continuing to pass stool 4/5 times a day.

Should I take her to some doctor? I am skeptical as I do not want her to take antibiotics.

Please suggest

No need to panic
If she is not having vomiting then you can stop Veretrum Alb and Aloes.
I am revising medicine you can start as follows

Chamomilla 6 take 1 drop of medicine in 4 spoon of water and give 1 spoon to her three times in day.(you can dispose other 3 spoon medicine, every time new preparation is required).

She will be all right.
No need to go for allopathic medicine.

thanks Doctor.. I have started giving her medicine as per your revised prescription and the stool is now under control (2-3 times a day)

But I wanted to inform you that my baby has developed some skin rash in the thigh and inner side of her elbow (pic attached) there are some red spots along with tiny bumps in the skin. However I am applying calamine lotion but wanted to understand if this is something I need to worry about. Can you please suggest if there is any cream I can apply for this.

I am bit worried as I was reading some where the delayed reaction of outside milk can result into skin eczema ... From the picture do you think anything like that can happen? Also is skin eczema curable or a permanent disorder in the skin? I am really scared now. I have given her outside packet milk for 3 days only (1st day 150 ml and 100 ml for the next 2 days and then stopped completely).

Do we need to do a skin allergy test (to see if she is allergic to lactose ) or this will subside within few days? Please help... Do we need to apply any other anti-bacterial cream?

At first instance it not seems to be eczema. This is common skin infection some time occurs at the folding area. You need not worry about this.
I am suggesting some medicine you can start as following

1 Rhus tox 30 1 drop in a spoon and give orally
2 Natrum Mur 200 4 pills once in a day orally

Adv- clean the area by XXXXXXX warm water and cotton 3-4 times in a day and let it be dry properly.
You can apply medicated talcum powder at the affected area
No need to of any ointment to apply

This will help to cure the infection

I am using XXXXXXX diaper rash powder. Do you suggest some other talcum powder like Nevasulph?
