Brief Answer:
insulin for short time.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Diabetes has become common condition in every family. I is not a disease it is just a low functioning of Insulin hormone.

If the sugar levels are not coming down then i suggest you should take Insulin injections for few days till the levels come back to normal and then again switch back to tablets.

Many people have wrong misconception that if they start on insulin once then it should be taken for ever but once the sugar levels are low and under control you can start on tablets.

But physical exercise is mandatory to keep your levels under control. So take some time for your self and do minimal walking at least.

Consult your physician and discuss about insulin and proper dosage.

Any query do follow up.

Take care.
