Question: Hello,
I can't remember what we talked about before--memory is getting worse.
I don't remember if we talked about diabetes and the fact that I am do testing but haven't decided what drug to take. I know that I don't want insulin as my husband passed from severe diabetes . I have look at some substitutes but all of them affect a prior condition I have had: fatty liver disease, massive gastrointestinal diseases, and other side effects I don't remember. I have been taking alternative supplements to help lower levels. I have been asking my NPA to get a blood test so that I can see if any of the billions of supplements are doing anything. I am waiting for her to make out the paperwork. Also due to the destruction of my colon by a surgeon who just crammed it into have the space it used to be in, I have also had to switch to a totally different diest.

Brief Answer:
Congrats for the strong will!

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
Congratulations for the will to follow such a strict diet.
Of course the blood sugar should have improved a lot.
Did you check it lately? Please attach some results of the blood sugar fasting and postprandial.
Will be a great pleasure to suggest if you need oral tablets or not.
Regards,
Dr.Mirjeta

I am using Chobani Yogurt with 2 TBLS crushed Chia Seed, cinnamon, stevia and sugar free coconut mix, then blend. I have a Melaleuca fiber bar, 2 hardboiled egss for lunch. Lunch is usually protein with a vegetable. Dinner I have switched to chobani yogurt with cinnamon, stevia, fiber powder, stir and eat. Exercise is limited due to the fact that all of my cervical veterbrae have decided to comingle and I will not go through a neck fusion. I am having PT for upper and lower back pains due to disc problems. I am trying!! With having the yogurt at night I have lost several pounds. I am at 238.6. I am VERY tired of doing this ALL the time.
I am NOT happy!!

Brief Answer:
Starting metformine would be a good idea:

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,
At these conditions i think it would be better to start metformine (of course if your treating physician will approve, after evaluating the liver and renal function) that will help to loose a bit weight and not to struggle so much to maintain normal blood sugar.
If you can notice the blood sugar has a tendency to be higher in the morning, that means that the liver produces too much glucose during the night.
Metformine would help in blocking sugar production by liver, improving so the fasting blood sugar.
So, you will be much relieved and suffer so much.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
