Brief Answer:
Clinical/DAT scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

On basis of above details, this may be Lewy body dementia(LBD) or Parkinson's disease dementia(PDD). DAT scan can differentiate LBD from common dementia in elderly,ie, Alzheimer's disease.

Neurological history and examination can further help differentiate the diagnoses. So, you should get examined by a neurologist.

Hope that helps. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
