Question: I have a cystic fibrosis patient who was accidentally given mesalamine rather than croon in a med error. He took the med for 3 days before the error was discovered. He was taking excessive mesalamine. He has had cramping abdominal pain and slight bloody diarrhea. Any advise on potential long term problems.
