Question: Cough, no voice, sore throat for weeks. My neck feels bruised, sleeping 15 plus hours a day, 1-2 nose bleeds a day for months

Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

I am of the opinion that you are having upper respiratory tract infection. Get at least a complete blood count, a chest xray done to rule out any infection of the lungs. A course of antibiotics like azithromycin or amoxicillin and clavulinic acid combination along with symptomatic treatment like a tyelenol and loratadine and nebulization will help you. Consult your PCP for the choice of antibiotics and dosages. Steam inhalation and warm saline water gargles will help. Prolonged sleeping could be because of the exhaustion due to the present illness which should pass as you recover but if it continues get blood test for thyroid function done.
