This is likely to be a conjunctival cyst, though I would have preferred to look at a photograph to be absolutely sure.
Usually with a cyst, there may be slight irritation, a astringent eye drop , usually available in a pharmacy, resolves it in a few days time. If there are any more synonyms, do get back to me, preferably with a photograph.
