Question: I currently have a cold....Stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat....But just recently my Right ear seems to be affected. Sounds like it is blocked slightly. Is this something that will go away with the cold?

Brief answer:
blocked ears become all right with simple measures and should go away once cold goes away.

Detailed answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I gave read your query.

Blocked ears are really troublesome when you have bad cold. This all happens because ears, nose and throat are all internally connected. Due to cold the mucus gets entrapped in eustachian tube, resulting in congestion of ears, impaired hearing and sometimes severe pain and fever,if they get infected with bacteria.

What to do.....
Drink plenty of hot water.
Drink honey with hot water.
You may drink tea made with apple cider vinegar, honey and lemon.
Do steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil 2-3 times a day.
Chewing gums and opening your jaws wide and yawning can also open your ears.
You should be all right with these.
In case you develop severe pain in ear or fever, then you would need to consult an ENT specialist for proper examination and antibiotic course or may be draining the fluid through your ear drum.

I hope it helps however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
