Suggest Treatment For Cold And Allergy Along With Loose Stool

Question: TO Dr. XXXXXXX Bhavsar
As i told you before i was having some cold or some allergic isue. i visit one doctor yesterday and he gave me some medicines. which are
Clarinase (loratadine and pseudoephedrine) 2 times a day
Clarithromycin 500mg 2 times a day
Paracetamol 500mg 2 times a day
Otrivin Nasal Drops 2 times a day
TABUNEX 0.05% 2 times a day
all these medicines are for 5 days. My cold or flue condition is very much better in one day dose. but problem that i have is now today i have stomach upset, i have one lose stool and all the day i was feeling stomic gass or some sound from my stomach.
is that due to these medicines? because before i was taking Levocetirizine 5mg which you told me to start.. is that could be the reason of stomach upset? what i should do ? continue this medicine or stop? or i have to take something for stomach now?

Yes, these are side effects of Clarithomycin.
Diarrhoea, abdominal bloating, gastritis etc are common side effects of Clarithomycin.
For gastritis and bloating, you should take combination of pantoprazole and levosulperide twice daily on empty stomach.
For diarrhoea, drink plenty of fluids orally. If diarrhoea still persist then you should stop taking Clarithomycin.

sir my diahrea finished only in one day .. now stomach is ok.. all.other medicines are finished as per doctor prescription. only i am taking one spray.flue or cold symptoms are also very less . only one problem is here. that sometimes i feel heavy chest when i breath. i feel i have chest phelgm or some lungs problem. means of i take long breath with mouth i feel a slight sound in chest. is that due to allergy or some serious isue?

So better to do steam inhalation and warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Start mucolytic and expectorant syrup.

sir i have started a Triopan Syrup, which includes mucolytic and expectorant, problem is i have wheezing sound when i breath. i was never been a asthema patient. but i am in a trouble now. from last some days when this allergy came i am having difficult breathing. i am in a fear that this is asthema or may b due to cough again blood will come in phlegm . problem is when i visit doctor 5days back ,he checked my chest. and he told that its ok. but at that time there was no sound from chest. still at that time i was having difficult breathing. but now this problem of sound and difficult breathing came. i am taking steam and this syrup. do you think i have asthema? because i was a patient of GERD or acid reflux ? is that could be a reason?

thanks a lot sir.. i am using syrup . and i am very much better with that. so i am waiting , if not recovered then i will take acebrophyllin.thanks
