Brief Answer:
Please, can you upload your results for interpretation?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this chronic inactive hepatitis B that you have reported. We only treat active hepatitis B and I don’t understand why you would be trying to take medications for this. As a matter of fact, I will like to review your laboratory results to make sure that there are reasons to be concerned about hepatitis B before recommending treatment.

Just for your interest, 9/10 persons who contract Hepatitis B would get spontaneous resolution and would never need treatment. Only those with chronic hepatitis B need treatment. Simepar is not the treatment of choice and only serve as an adjuvant therapy. It contains silymarin which is a natural health product. Not much research backs its use. There is not enough evidence to demonstrate its effectiveness and side effects.

If after reviewing your results it shows that there is need for treatment, I will recommend up to date best practices then.

Let me know what your immediate thoughts are about my response.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
