Brief Answer:
Probably a viral infection. Give Tylenol rather.

Detailed Answer:
HI,

I have reviewed this information fully. In the absence of other symptoms suggestive of a specific disease condition, the most likely cause is a viral infection. Offer tylenol 1000mg at most 8hours daily and observe only. Increased fluids, fruits and vegetables alongside a healthy diet and regularly exercise would help him improve faster. Stop Ibuprofen as it is not often advised in cases of viral infections.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
