Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Cough While On Levolin
Brief Answer:
Medicines are proper
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concern. Most often such symptoms are due to viral infections and antibiotics are ineffective in such cases. You may continue the nebulization with Levolin 0.31 as well as T-minic Drops. You can give Atarax Drops 0.3 ml thrice daily as an alternative of T-minic Drops. You may give Nasoclear saline nasal drops if there is nasal blockage. You would have to be patient as irrespective of treatment it usually takes 5-7 days to spontaneously resolve. Till then you would have to be patient. If the child is otherwise active and playful you need not worry.
Feel free to write back.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Thanks for the updates.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the update. It is a good sign and there is nothing to worry. Just continue the medicines. If the child does not have respiratory distress or wheezing, you can give nebulization with normal saline 2 ml rather than giving Levolin. In case of fever greater than 100°F give Crocin. Also give tepid sponging.
Please be patient. Things would soon be back to normal.
