Brief Answer:
You should take aspirin

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Amyloid angiopathy can cause amyloid depositions in various parts of body including blood vessels causing occlusion of the blood vessels. So it is advised to take Aspirin for such patients.
And yes you can take Diclofenac(pain killer) but should not take it very frequently.
Thanks & take Care

Thank you Dr. XXXXXXX . I understand not to take aspirin often, however after an MRI diagnosed Amyloid the Neurologist told me not to take aspirin at the time I was taking one baby aspirin a day. so I've been completely off aspirin. it's really hard finding the right thing to take for my arthritis or headaches. I do have about a glass of wine every nite. don't take them together, but later in the evening I take levithroxyn, lexipro, losartan and amiloidipine. am I over doing it?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
You should take baby aspirin regularly. As i said earlier also, it is recommended to prevent occlusion. It should be taken after lunch or dinner to prevent gastritis.
Further for the pain(headache & arthritis) you can take Acetaminophen twice daily.
Levothyroxine is not to be taken at night, it has to be taken in morning empty stomach.
Lexipro is to be taken at night.
About Losartan and Amlodipine (both are for bp), we generally recommend it to take in morning. It can be taken together as their are combination of both available in market. Taking it in morning will keep bp stable throughout the day & night.
All tablets are important & their is currently little scope to stop any one of these. Bp medications can be reduced once your bp stabilizes.
Drink lot of water, don't drink alcohol daily (you can take it once in a while), do regular exercise & decrease salt intake in diet.
Following a healthy lifestyle will decrease your medicine requirement & your medicines will be reduced very soon.

If you need any more help, I'll be happy to help.
Thanks & take care
