Question: dr. indranil ghosh; have a carcinod tmr on t6 vertbra. will not opt on heaert until t6 is addressed. any info on bone carcin. suggest radiation on t6...see oncol tomor at 9am. thank youwhat is bone carcinoid cannot find info. does radiation work on bone tumors. what to do about bone before surgery. removal from heart was asap. waited 4 weeks for appt. just told this tody. what kind of holdup will t6 present.

I am still not sure how they are convinced that these two are related and both are carcinoid. What about biopsy and the other tests I had suggested? Were they done?

Even if I assume these are carcinoid tumors, carcinoid doesn't arise from bones. But it can spread to bones. As it is in a single vertebra, it can easily be irradiated. Should not present much hold up.

Whether the heart lesion needs treatment asap or can wait depends on the echo cardiogram. If it is not causing blood flow problem in the heart, it can wait.
