Suggest Treatment For Bursitis In Hip

Question: I have bursitis in my hip. I went to the orthapaedic dr. After i fell down and developed quite a bit of pain in my hip and foot. He thinks i just bumped my last 3 toes when i fell, but the pain seems worse. Prescribed diclofenac sodium 75mg twice daily & dic/lido 4/5%, pentox 3% to rub into the effected area 3-4 times dailyfor 2 minutes duration each time. My question is can i use salon pass patches during the day on my hip it is quite difficult to stop work go undress and rub this ointment in twice while i'm at work. And is it ok for the otc salon pass meds to be mixed in with the prescription meds? Also, what can i do for my foot it hurts too?

You can use salon pass patches during the day on your hip. It is ok to apply otc salon pass patches locally for pain along with prescription medicines. For foot -do icing and elevate the foot. Avoid putting weight and rest well.
