Brief Answer:
Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on the way you described your symptoms , it appears to be an upper respiratory tract infection, most likely pharngitis or tonsillitis. Even though culture samples have been taken empirically antibiotics should be initiated based on clinically examining the throat. Amoxicillin clavulanate or erythromycin can be advised as empiric therapy. Nasal decongestants, steam inhalation with menthol, antihistamines and tylenol can be taken for now to relieve the symptoms.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
