Brief Answer:
As discussed in details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit small and specific.

Noted your history of oar ramming under the left breast about a week back and the pain is still there and you feel sick.

This indicates that there must be a trauma to the ribs/cartilages/muscles or the soft tissues.

May I please know a few details?
- Does the pain increase on taking deep breath or any movement that strains on the chest?
- Any local swelling?
- Have you undergone any X-ray/CT and the medicines you have taken?

To rule out or to confirm I would advise you the following:
Press on the area and see if there is a pointed pain on pressure.
Put a finger on the tender spot and see if there is crepitus like noise on forceful coughing?
Consult a Doctor and ask him/her to get a clinical examination, actual examination and CT scan or at least X-ray with a marker to see whether there is a fracture or not and the extent of trauma.

The treatment plan:
Depends upon the findings.
As a general treatment strapping of the area can be done when you have exhaled all the air . This give very good relief irrespective of the cause.
Anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more or if you need further clarifications or if you feel there is a gap of communication.
