Question: I went to urgent care yesterday. Bronchitis dx. Z-pack (I took two this morning). I took Tylenol around 11 am; I also took two Tsps of guaifenesin w/ codeine at 2pm. I also got a shot of rosefrin at urgent care ( about 24 hours ago). My temperature is 99.4. I have terrible pain in my upper legs and hips, very achy. My back is incredibly painful; much worse than yesterday; right around my kidneys and it wraps around the front to under my rib cage. Is this from the medicine?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
These symptoms may not be because of medicines,
It seems you are suffering from viral infection.
It's symptoms usually increases on second and third day.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have advised you ibuprofen(after meals) to add to your recipe, along with pantoprazole(empty stomach).
Take plenty of fluids.
Add multivitamin as well.
A single shot of rocephin is not enough, you must get a course of at least three days. You can discuss this with your doctor.
Hope you have answer to your query, if any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.
