Detailed Answer:
Hi dear XXXX

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

How was your day?

Hope this message finds you in good health.

I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

it seems that you have refractured the bone in the toe. after the first break, you mentioned that the doctor said it was a clean break and that he just asked you, not to hurt it again. this means the injury was initially minor.

now again,if you have accidentally ran on it , then it may have damaged and fractured the bone more than before, thats why you hear a popping when you bend. this is not normal.

for now, you can apply ice pack and then apply a adhesive strapping around the toe and the toe besides it,together. this will give you relief. take anti inflammatory tablets if the pain is more.

if the pain increases, and if it hurts you more, you should get an xray done again and consult the doctor.

i will be able to guide you more if you can attach a photograph of the toe and the xray to this question. i can go through it and help you with more precision.

You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.

I hope your question has been answered.

Feel free to consult me anytime for follow-up queries.

Take care,God bless.
