Question: Hi last month I had started getting blurred vision that last about 10 minutes, then lightheaded and dizziness that lasted about 30 minutes, then a headache. This just happened again to me this month! After I feel very out of it. Only happened two times but curious as to what is going on. I also have the mirena birth control so I didn't know if that is playing a factor into it.

Brief Answer:
Mirena could be contributory.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. You could be having a migraine and the blurry vision prior to that could be an aura preceding a migraine. You need to be examined thoroughly. Taking Aleve (naproxen) 500 mg one or two tablets together as per requirement should provide relief. Medicines like metoprolol (prescription medicine) on the other hand would prevent such attacks from occurring.

Mirena is known to precipitate migraine and therefore is likely to be contributory.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
