Brief Answer:
Need to investigate

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

For a 68 yr male, any hint of blood in the stool needs serious investigation.
THe reasons for new appearance of blood could be fissure, hemorrhoids, tumor new vessels formation.
We generally take this as a serious reason like a tumor and investigate from stool tests to colonoscopy.
Testosterone injections can also cause new blood vessels to rupture leading to stool blood but it needs to be investigated thoroughly.
Hope you understand the importance of testing.
