Brief Answer: It is not urgent Detailed Answer: Hello. Thank you for the query. From your description it does not sound like a blood clot in either veins or arteries. Arteries blood clot causes pain, pale limb, paresthesia and if left untreated leads to leg necrosis. Veins blood clot causes painfull calf, swelling, warm and red limb. The pain can not come and go. In my opinion most probable reason of your legs problem is chronic arterial insufficiency due to arterosclerosis. It gives pain while walking (in the calf mostly) which goes away as soon as you stop walking. Limb is cold, skin is thin and hairless. You may also suffer from calf muscle spasm due to ions deficiency. I suggest you to try Magnesium with Potassium supplementation. If it wont help, please consult vascular surgeon. Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions. Regards.
