If its a one off episode then antacids like polycrol or wydrate should help. If severe than ranitidine or omeprazole can be advised.

If this is a chronic issue then PPIs like omeprazole or lansoprazole can be advised accordingly for 3 to 4 weeks to see for improvement. If still the problem persists then further workup including an upper GI endoscopy can be advised.
