Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached picture.
Although the lesion does not look like any std and I don't think there is any need to be worried about ,but still I would like to know certain more details from you .
Since then do you have this ?
Any associated itching or pain ?
Was there any redness or pain in the lesion earlier ?

It has never had any pain, redness or felt uncomfortable in anyway! It might have been itchy? As you can tell,if it was itchy I couldn't really remember. I'm never seen anything like this before on me so I was just really concerned.

Sorry I didn't answer one of the questions. I play a lot of sports and it arrived during the time I was playing so Monday of this week

Brief Answer:
Hypertrophic lesion,should heal soon

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Thanks for the details .
The lesion is basically a slightly hypertrophic area of skin which can arise after any follicular pathology .
I would advise you to apply a mild topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected area twice daily for four to five days .
If the lesion tends to heal or decrease ,you may continue the treatment for a week maximum ,if it persists or increases ,you can see a local doctor for direct examination with a magnifying lens.
