Question: Bleeding from penis. Had a couple of drops early yesterday morning after straining for a bowl movement. Now more bleeding after sex but no ejaculation.

I just urinated and there was no blood

Hi and thanks for this query.

It appears you ruptured a vessel in the urethra during straining. This is rather uncommon but not impossible. At this this time, I will suggest that you drink much fluid and observe this only. I believe it will heal all by itself and as such you need to avoid further straining and sex for approximately a week. Should this bleeding persist, then we may need to visualize the urethral passage to identify the exact problem and fix it.
