default
Posted on Fri, 29 May 2015
Question: I did ask we talked and got an ulta sound on my left testicle and they said I had a benign cyst ? No further attention needed ? ( ok what about my pain ) and thobbing once in a while after a walk ? The doctor gave me cephalexin 500 mg 3x a day ? I noticed my testicles don't look as red ? Could it be when ever I walk a lot I pull a muscle down there? Infection ? I am going to to see a urine doctor ? The cyst must be small I feel nothing ?

Brief Answer:
Please give details

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

Read the previous query and your interactions with our Doctor.
I can understand how one feels when there is a pain but no possible diagnosis and/or treatment.

I would like to know a few things that would help us both to come to conclusion:
- Can you please post the report of the ultrasonography report for me to study well. you can post as YYYY@YYYY
- What is the character of the pain,
is it excruciating /
comes on suddenly /
goes away suddenly /
any reference to the abdomen particularly to the left side of the umbilicus /
any other activity that cause pain?
are you married , if yes, kids ? Do you need to extend family.

All the answers will help me for diagnosis. Proper history can diagnose most of the cases, provided it is detailed, put in chronological way.

If the benign cyst is pedunculated, it can cause pain on twisting on its own axis.
Simply walking in a way you explained may not cause any pain unless it causes torsion of the testis.

An opinion, clinical evaluation, actual physical examination by an Urologist will definitely help.

I hope this answer and your feedback may help us both.
Awaiting your feedback.

Till then give a scrotal support so that it is not hanging freely.
