Suggest Treatment For Back Pain While Having Degenerated Disc Disease

default
Posted on Mon, 4 Jul 2016
Question: Hi. I have degenerated disc disease in two lower discs in my back, with some minor bulging. My Ortho doc said it's not that bad. I've also had hip/pelvic pain for 9+ years that no one can diagnose. Been cleared by gyno for any female issues, R.F. ablation, lumbar epidural and triggers point injections offer no relief. Had a nerve conduction test on my legs (because pain radiates down front of my thighs to my knees) and the test said everything was fine. Today when I went to the bathroom (bowel movement) I got a really bad pain in my lower back. It was hard to finish. But when I did the pain went away. Is this a new thing, or is it related to my back issues. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
It is related to back pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have studied your case. Back pain is a chronic problem and it is difficult to treat. Since you have tried every thing I would suggest you to look for surgical option. Fusion of disc with nerve decompression can cure your back pain.
if you want to delay surgery then you need to focus on back muscle strengthening exercises.
As far pain during bowel movements is concern this can be due to excessive pressure. It is same back pain and nothing new development.Avoid constipation and you can avoid this.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
