1) Have you started any meds with that as well?

2) Did it work for you ever or the new pharma never worked?

3) Any change did you make in medicine habit.

4) For how long have you been taking the same dose?

I am not writing because I am in pain and need medicine. I am writing because they have changed the meds and the new doesn't work. Basic question, probably you cannot in your profession--as written by others on Internet, the control people have reduced the pain killer in this new med planning to just make us take something that doesn't work. How can I get original?

Brief Answer:
You do have a few options.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back,

What ever the dose is written on label it can not be reduced , but yes some preparations are different than other in having eneteric coating or slow release fast release preparation.

In my opinion the preparation has changed in your case and it is not suiting you.

You can contact your doctor to get a change in preparation or an alternative drug of the same class.

Do ask your pharmacy if preparation. has changed with the change in brand.. if thats so then you can demand the old prep or you can ask your doctor to give you alternate same class drug.

Online refilling companies are there too.Which might help.

Or you can switch to opioid patch which gives 7 days protection from pain by slowly releasing into your blood

I hope this will solve your issues.

Wish your the best of health.

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
