Suggest Treatment For Arousal Disorder And Premature Ejaculation
Question: Hello doctor, I am 23 yrs old, my height is 182 cm & I weigh 70 kgs, my problems are premature ejaculation, size decrease of the penis & inability to keep it aroused or even get it aroused properly, I have had this problem for 3 months now & I am beginning to worry, your help is much appreciated. thank you

Hi,
Your history mentions two different problems here. I can tell you what you can do for both.
decreased arousal and as you say decreased size of penis can be because of multiple reasons.A psychologist will first consider any psychological or emotional problems; while a sex therapist will examine relationship issues; after which a medical doctor will investigate medical causes ( testosterone levels)for the disorder. Depending upon what is the cause of the sexual arousal disorder, your treatment will be done. If you have psychological issues( which is the most common cause), psychotherapy is the treatment of choice. Hormone replacement may be considered if medical issue is considered.
Premature ejaculation is totally a separate issue to be considered. If you have already tried viagra and stop and squeeze technique, the only option left is SSRI which is rarely used for this purpose. Please note SSRI will further exacerbate your arousal disorder and would delay your ejaculation. At the most if your premature ejaculation is a terrible problem for you, you may use short acting SSRI depoxetine. However again I would recommend not using SSRI. Thank you.
