default
Posted on Mon, 28 Dec 2015
Question: My son is 17, on and off has had anal fissures since he was around 9, he is telling me has bright red blood in his stool, and when he wipes the toilet paper is red as well when he is done. This time however he is saying he also has pain in his lower left abdomen, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being severe pain he rates it at a 4. He also has no fever, can this just be fissures again, because he has never had the abdominal pain. His diet consist of very little greens, or fiber, although he works out regularly and drinks a protein drink called Combat Protein.
