Question: I recently bought silver bangles for my kid after which I can see some allergic kind of reaction on his hand. Although he was wearing XXXXXXX silver jewellery earlier as well but this is first time we saw such thing.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The symptoms and image is most likely due to contact allergy. It can be due to some metal mixed with silver or silver itself. I would recommend you to apply lactocalamine and desowen lotion twice daily (alternately) on the skin lesion for relief. Also, cut his nails short to prevent scratching. You may give antihistamine such as Syp. Maxtra if the itching is troubling him.

Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care
